My daughter and I have an ongoing debate about my novel Transmigrant. It’s a survival thriller with three primary characters: Ray, Kaylie, and Estia.
The debate we have is: Whose story is this novel? Is it about Ray or Kaylie or Estia? You can make a good argument for all three of them. My daughter claims it’s really Estia’s story, and I can’t fault her for that opinion—it is Estia’s story.
But it’s also Ray’s story.
And it’s also Kaylie’s story.
I’ll write more about the other characters in later posts, but today, I wanted to talk about Estia. She’s the mysterious orphan. Somehow, she’s been sheltered from society. She’s naive and doesn’t understand. But on the other hand, she is a capable person in ways you don’t suspect.
So who is she?
This trailer asks those questions.
The novel answers them.
Transmigrant, a survival thriller in a science fiction setting, can be found on Amazon and Audible.
As of the time of this writing, I still have some free Audible credits left (US and UK) available in exchange for fair reviews.
