The people know the world as Vael, beyond which there may be other worlds. But this world is made up of two continents: Oestai and Estia, each of which is home to three nations.
Because humans are, by far, the dominant race in the known world, the nation divisions are, necessarily humano-centric. Not everyone (particularly among the minority races) agrees with these political divisions.
